Beta version, effective July 12, 2026. This document will get a plain notice and a fresh date whenever it changes.
The short version
We collect what the product needs to work, we use it to run the product, and we don't sell it. Board content is yours. AI features send the relevant board content to AI providers to do their job and nothing more.
What we collect
- Account basics: name, email, and profile image if you sign in with Google or GitHub.
- Your content: boards, shapes, uploaded images, and chat messages with the assistant.
- Operational data: session and device information (for the security panel), and usage events for AI features so we can meter allowances.
- The playground stores its boards only in your browser (IndexedDB). Nothing leaves your device until you sign up and choose to keep the work.
How AI features use your content
When you use the assistant, the relevant board content (shapes, text, and images you point it at) is sent to our AI model providers to generate the response or build. Board summaries for cross board memory are generated the same way. We don't use your content to train models.
Sharing and visibility
Boards are private to their members. A public read only link makes that board viewable by anyone who has the link, until you revoke it. We never list or index your boards.
Cookies
One session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising trackers.
Your controls
- Export your boards (PNG, Mermaid) any time.
- Download your account data from Account and security.
- Delete your account from Account and security; this removes your boards and content.
